The Leonardo AW149 Center Body Tailpipe (CBT) IR suppressor that is integral to the Leonardo AW149 attack helicopter. The AW149 CBT provides greater than 90% Band IV IR signature reduction at all azimuth and elevation view angles around the aircraft. This full optical block design is achieved with minimal effects on engine operation, achieving approximately 2% power loss at maximum continuous power (MCP).
