The Leonardo AW139 Film Cooled Tailpipe (AW139 FCT) replaces the entire AW139 PT6 exhaust system with a multi-staged ejector and film cooled diffuser. Designed and qualified for the militarized AW139M, the device can be retrofit to any AW139 aircraft. With no increase in drag and a less than 2% loss in engine power at MCP, the AW139 FCT is a low impact self-protection measure for aircraft used in military, paramilitary, or reconnaissance operations.
